Lower cholesterol with this! 1/2 cup service can be eated as cereal with milk or take it dry in a baggie for a breakfast on the run!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup soybean oil
1 cup water
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
5 cups oatmeal
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup barley
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup wheat germ
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients in order given, stirring well between each one to mix well.
2. Spray cookie sheet or shallow pan with cooking spray and bake in 2-3 batches at 200-250 degrees for 2-3 hours until lightly browned (be sure to stir every 15-20 minutes).
3. Cool and seal in plastic bags. Can freeze or refrigerate - keeps indefinitely.
