Anchovy Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Brown ground beef and drain.
  3. Add olive oil to skillet and saute minced garlic for 30 seconds. Add onion and anchovies and saute for 2 minutes. Add bell pepper and cook another 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook & stir for 2 minutes.
  4. When vegetables are tender, add the beef to the skillet and pour the marinara over all.
  5. Reduce heat, cover and simmer.
  6. Prepare pasta according to package directions, drain and rinse in cold water.
  7. In a large casserole dish combine the pasta and sauce. Mix in 1 cup of mozzarella.
  8. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of mozzarella over the top.
  9. Cover and bake 20 minutes, uncover and bake 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
