This came from Favorite Recipes Great American Pies. I have not tried this posting for safe keeping.
Ingredients:
7 ounces flaked coconut, toasted (2 2/3 cup)
1/3 cup margarine or 1/3 cup butter, melted
14 ounces eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1/3 cup realemon lemon juice concentrate
17 ounces canned fruit cocktail, well drained
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted and chopped
1/4 cup chopped maraschino cherry, well drained
4 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed (1 3/4 cups)
additional fruit (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine coconut and margarine. Reserving 2 tablespoons coconut mixture, press remainder firmly on bottom and up side to rim of 9-inch of 9-inch pie plate. Chill. In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, ReaLemon, fruit cocktail, almonds and cherries; mix well. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into prepared crust.
2. Chill 4 hours or until set. Garnish with reserved coconut and additional fruit if desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
