Amana Ox Yoke Inn Rhubarb Custard Pie

A custardy rhubarb pie, a change from the usual. My Aunties had this at the Oxe Yoke Inn in Amana in the 1980's and we have enjoyed this ever since.
Ingredients:
5 1/2 cups chopped rhubarb
2 1/2 cups sugar
4 each eggs; lightly beaten
3/4 cup half and half
3/4 tablespoon flour
1/8 tsp salt
double crust pastry for 9 inch pie
Directions:
1. Make crust for a 2 crust pie.
2. Put bottom crust in pie pan; sprinkle with 3/4 tsp flour. (I used 3/4 tbsp in error, but it turned out beautifully).
3. Mix the rhubarb, sugar, beaten eggs, half and half and salt.
4. Bake at 375 for 1 1/2 hours.
