I got this recipe from a cookbook “Wonderful Ways to Cook Curries” I paid 50c for the book in a thrift shop and don’t plan to keep the poor old thing. I haven’t made this recipe, but we eat a lot of curries and I know I will. Remember an Australian tablespoon is 4 teaspoons.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups yogurt
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
500 g potatoes
chopped fresh chives
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
Directions:
1. Blend together the yogurt, cumin, salt, pepper and chili powder.
2. Chill in fridge.
3. Cook potatoes in boiling water.
4. Peel and dice when cool.
5. Mix with the yogurt.
6. Serve garnished with chopped chives and cumin seeds.
