Such a great recipe. Super quick and easy!! We serve it with Kings Hawaiian Rolls. Also I usually make it the night before and let it sit in the fridge overnight and then reheat in the crock pot before serving. It just tastes better this way. Another twist our family uses for this recipe is we use 1 lb ground beef and then we buy 1 lb of steak and put it through the food processer it gives a more chunky texture to the chili but it is just as delightful using 2 lbs ground beef.
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef or 2 lbs turkey
1 small onion, diced
16 ounces drained kidney beans
16 ounces undrained pork and beans
20 ounces undrained pineapple tidbits
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
Directions:
1. Fry meat and onions until meat is fully cooked.
2. While meat is cooking put all other ingredients in crock pot.
3. Add meat and onions when done.
4. mix well, and simmer until hot.
