A light fresh tasting pilaf Not sure where I first found this recipe
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 cups white rice
3 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup toasted almond (slivers)
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
Directions:
1. Saute uncooked rice with butter until golden.
2. Add broth and bring to a boil, cover and simmer until liquid is absorbed. Add other ingredients.
