Dense, cake-like, dessert bars. I got this recipe from a friend years ago. I don't know where she got it from.
Ingredients:
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup melted butter
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons almond extract
powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Cream eggs and sugar, add baking powder, salt, melted butter, flour and almond extract.
3. Pour in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
4. Bake for 30 minutes.
5. Let cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
6. Cut into squares.
