These are from the December 2002 edition of Quick Cooking. They are very rich but do freeze well! Suggest if you don't use these quickly that you freeze them - they do dry out quicker than other bars.
Ingredients:
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Cream eggs and sugar.
3. Add butter and mix.
4. Add flour and almond extract, mix well.
5. Pour into 9x13 pan.
6. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
7. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
