This recipe I got from a friend 30 years ago. It's hard to believe it calls for a full bottle of almond to be used, but it does and is fantastic. Very moist and needs no frosting.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (1 ounce) bottle almond extract
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Mix all together.
3. Pour into an 8x8 baking pan for 25 minutes.
