This distinctive Hawaiian dish is served with raw tuna (poke). A salad that would please any seafood lover!
Ingredients:
2 pounds cubed, fresh tuna steaks
2 tbsp macadamia nuts, finely chopped
3/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 tbsp crushed red pepper (this is optional)
1 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp of sesame oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
Directions:
1. Combine Ahi, green onions, chilli pepper, soy sauce,, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and macadamia nuts in a medium sized (non-reactive) bowl and mix well. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours prior to serving.
