This is a blend of ingredients rubbed into meat or poultry to impart a unique seasoning. Very good on steaks.
Ingredients:
1 whole black peppercorn
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1 garlic clove, peeled
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon vinegar (or fresh lime juice)
Directions:
1. Crush & mix first 3 ingredients in a mortar. Mix crushed ingredients with remaining ingredients.
2. Rub seasoning into meat thoroughly & set in the refrigerator or several hours.
3. This is enough for about 1 pound of meat or poultry.
