I got this from who knows where, but they are just as the name proclaims... the absolute best! Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/3 cup cocoa |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup self-rising flour |
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. Grease and flour a 9 x 9-inch pan. 3. In a bowl, beat together the butter and sugar. 4. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. 5. Combine the cocoa, salt, and flour together; stir into the sugar mixture. 6. Stir in the walnuts. 7. Spread evenly into prepared pan. 8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until firm. |
