3 Way For Yogurt Appetizer

A refreshing dip with pita bread or crackers even on backed potatoes serve it wit orange juice ....delicious
Ingredients:
4 cups yogurt, plain
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil, or 2 teaspoons dried basil
2 cloves garlic, crushed (optional)
salt to taste
another way
i/4 cup flat parsley
1/4 cup cilantro or white onion
4 cups yogurt plain
salt to taste
in this case you blend it by hand
another way with dill
1 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Strain the yogurt through cheesecloth overnight (if the yogurt is too thin) if not just mix it as is
2. Place all ingredients in a blender; then blend for a few moments.
3. Place in a serving bowl and chill.
4. Serve as a dip with Arabic (pita) bread.
5. to serve it with dill:
6. Add the chopped herbs and lemon juice to the thickened yogurt.
7. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
