3 Bean Chili with Turkey

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Brown onions in corn oil in skillet,
  2. Once onions are cooked add ground turkey in skillet and brown,
  3. Transfer onion & meat to crockpot, add 1 cup water to skillet and heat to deglaze pan, add heated water to crockpot
  4. Add diced bell pepper, tomato sauce, and diced canned tomatoes, chili powder, garlic, salt to crockpot stir all ingredience and set crockpot on high for 30 minutes then set on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Rinse all 3 beans add to crockpot, stir, increase crockpot to high for 30 minutes.
  6. Optional - If you'd like a thicker chili base add Corn Starch to 1/2 cup water, stir until dissolved then add Corn Starch mixture to chili slowly while stirring chili until chili is the consistence you desire.
