Just a nice, easy and tasty bbq rub. The recipe was given to me by Sharon Gennaro who said her family had been using this mix since her uncle came back from WWII after serving in the Pacific. ( I only mention this because tho they used it before that, it's about then when she learned how to make it as a teen from her grandmother) Thanks Sharon!
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
2 teaspoons paprika
1 tablespoon mustard powder (i myself prefer colman's)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Directions:
1. Crush the peppercorns and celery seeds and mix all ingredients together. Rub on meat before grilling etc.
