A simple fruit salad that's simple to make for a large gathering or also easy to halve for smaller groups. It's called 14 cup, for a reason, but I don't measure the fruit...just get the large cans or what 'about' equals a total of 6 cups of the various fruits. Read more . :)
Ingredients:
1 large(14ozish) can pineapple chunks, drained well
3 small cans mandarin orange segments, drained well
1 large can pitted dark or sour cherries, drained well(not pie filling)--or, you can sub 2 cups seedless grapes
2 cups sour cream
2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
2 cups mini marshmallows
2 cups finely chopped pecans
'''splash of vanilla
Directions:
1. In bottom of large serving bowl, mix sour cream with vanilla.
2. Add coconut and marshmallows and stir to combine.
3. Fold in fruits until well coated.
4. Add pecans to top either before chilling or before serving.
5. Chill at least an hour.
